Pulang Lang Tengah - D Coconut Lagoon

Kuala Lumpur flights to Kuala Terengganu take 50 minutes. Should aim to go to the island, is better to take morning flight, this is because the boat from Jetty Merang to Pulau Lang Tengah is at 11am (40 minute by speedboat).

The departure point to Pulau Lang Tengah is Merang about 38 kilometers from Kuala Terengganu and journey from Kuala Terengganu airport takes 25 minute by car/taxi.

Arrived at the jetty stimulate, we can see a lot of souvenir shops and food outlets. So just spend some time to walk around and spend your money here to buy stuff like souvenir, mineral water, t-shirt and other stuff because it is more cheaper here than in the island.

Can also kill some time and have a drink at the food outlets

When it was time to leave u can go to the D' Coconut Lagoon check point and wait for your boat.

Pulau Lang Tengah is between Pulau Perhentian and Pulau Redang. I choose D' Coconut Lagoon simply because I was attracted to the idea of they has two isolated and idyllic stretches of pristine white sandy beaches (West Wing and East Wing). Which it offers nice ambience and at the same time delivers a unique destination for marine life and nature lovers like me :)

There are about 12 dive sites around Pulau Lang Tengah and together with nearby Pulau Redang, Pulau Perhentian and Pulau Bidong, there are more than 30 dive sites for divers.

The reception and lobby area

All rooms come complete with an air-condition unit, tea/coffee making facilities and a mini-fridge, attached bathroom with hot water shower, and some rooms with bathtub.

Coffee and tea plus crackers or water are free flow throughout the day at restaurant.

The accommodation in West Wing are more expensive - cabanas, executive deluxe, deluxe, family and superior rooms. The cuisine is more for the European and Westerner, there are 6-7 selection , the style of cooking is more to pastas, grilled lamb and etc.

Swimming pool and Jacuzzi at the west wing

The East Wing is more for local and Asian, the accommodation

slightly cheaper but it is nearer to the sea and reception. The restaurant in East Wing setting with breathtaking view of the lagoon and turquoise crystal clear waters, they serve popular Malaysian food and western cuisine. Seriously the food they served here so yummy so better be on time for your meal else the leftovers.
